The Past 100 Years and the next 100 years

OZAKI was the first company in Japan to commence the mass-production of dial gauges back in 1932. The country was just starting on the road to industrialization at that time. In the more than eighty years that have elapsed since then, Japan has experienced a period of high-level economic growth and a period of motorization to help the country develop to a level that has turned it into a world-leading manufacturing empire, and the country’s amazing industrial growth has taken place together with the creation of OZAKI’s history.

I am sure that the ever-evolving levels of reliability inherent with products MADE IN JAPAN have contribute considerably to the development of industry.
We have been supplied our products to a wide range of machine tool manufacturers and these products are used by these companies in the manufacturer of what are known as mother machines. I take pride in the fact that the PEACOCK brand of products represents the mother tools that support production line.

When establishing the standards for precision instruments, Japan Industrial Standards (JIS), which are highly acclaimed on a global basis, set the standards based on OZAKI standards. Dial gauges, Micrometers and Vernier calipers were known as the “three almighty instruments” among measurement gauges at that time, and they became JIS designated products as essential tools for supporting the field of manufacturing. Especially stringent standards were set because of this, and the basis for this was OZAKI standards. Today we continue to maintain this strict stance with regard to manufacturing, and will carry on with this stance ceaselessly.

I am very proud of the name of recognition the PEACOCK brand receives and the trust that customers put in our products during normal business talks.
Many of the products we develop are produced individually in accordance with the special requirements of our customers and I believe that the high percentage of order-made products we supply is evidence of the trust we garner through our technological powers.

What I feel the most is the abundance of manufacturing knowledge that is shared among workers within the company. For example, every single tool that we process is packed full of careful consideration and the wisdom that our forefathers spent many years accumulating through endless improvements. The amazing technical skills that have been passed on without pause is what leaves the deepest impression on me.

Various boom nations throughout the world are beginning to experience rapid industrialization in the same way as Japan did in the past. Demand for PEACOCK products with their undisputed levels of quality is on the rise in these regions, so the stage upon which we are active will become much larger in the future. To take this opportunity, we would like to open the market more positively.

Increasing needs and diversification with regard to precision measuring instruments will continue top grow in the future. I believe that we will devote ourselves to the technological skills that have continued to supply to such demands up until now to enhance the value of the PEACOCK brand even further.

Absolutely. The element on which we place the highest esteem in OZAKI is technology. We will continue to pass on the knowledge we have accumulated up until now and continue to develop new technologies in the future.
